These two bags are IDENTICAL!! The first is from Topshop and is ridiculously priced! The second is from Forever21 (which I proudly own) and cost only £24. Im pretty pleased right now to find this out. I just couldnt believe my eyes when I looked on thewebsite, I had to share it.
I just wanted to share this idea as its really tasty and quick to do and you can eat it the next day for lunch. Definitely buy the bouillon stock or power as its good for other things like soups. Obviously its not going to beat going to the chinese but its virtually syn free and vegetarian. Vege Chicken and Egg Fried Rice
Ingredients:
1 Bag of frozen Quorn Chicken Pieces Frozen vegetables (I choose microwavable packet ones as its easier) 3 Free Range Eggs 1 Large microwavable long grain rice pack Soya Sauce (I prefer light) Bouillon Vegetable Power (Additional seasoning's if desired)
Method:
Fry the chicken pieces in a large hot wok and add seasoning as you go. Whilst cooking microwave your rice and vegetable packets. (usually a few minutes each) Add the cooked rice and stir fry until there's lots of colour and almost begins to smoke.Next crack the eggs in the pan and whisk around until everything is coated. Lastly add the vegetables (I particularly like brocoli and peas.
The 'new neon' is so much cooler and stylish than the tacky 'Hadouken-Nu-Rave-In Your Face-Mid Naughties' stage you may or may not have gone through. Unless you have money to buy some good quality bright neon accessories, then you really don't need to obvious as theres some much more restrained and tasteful options out there. .Check out my slide show for some inspiration (all images taken by myself)
Only £7.99 complete with manual and case! i think if it was grey or black it would be a tad boring but I love the colour and I'm glad I found it tucked away in a charity shop in Alton :-)
Some signs at a junction in West Meon-a village with around 700 people. The sign advertises a cute Hampshire based business called Forget Me Not Clothes- a brilliant concept which brings second hand clothes to villages in the area. I just love seeing little independently ran businesses- especially fashion ones! I need to go sometime now I have a car :-) www.forgetmenotsales.com
Again I just felt like I needed to take a picture because its a really clever business venture. I never thought I'd see many burger vans knocking about in such affluent areas but it seems people still want fish and chips wherever you go! The van arrives a certain times in the high provided a highly accessible and popular service.I spoke with a Majestic customer who said you can even pre-order from the van and pick it up! Spot On
This large two floored cafe/restaurant/venue is a multifunctional building with stunning architectural qualities and interior furnishings. The wide open hall upstairs has a 'pop-up'feel to it. Whether the unfinished paintwork is purposeful, it added to the feel and character of the place. The dishes were definitely not unfinished; the eggs Florentine I ordered was delicious and the hollandaise sauce was a perfect emulsion. It definitely worth a visit if your looking for a light lunch and cant be bothered with a pub chain or Costa Coffee. The only downside is I felt the prices were quite high- not somewhere you'd go on a regular basis. For some reason it reminded me of Antic Theatre in the El Bourne neighbourhood in Barcelona., I think mainly because of the half exposed architecture and renaissance style features. I guess there's just something about it that makes it feel more European.
Check out both websites if your in either of these places you should definitely go!
Scrunchies!!! <3 I'm pleased that the scrunchie is back for quite a few reasons.:
1. Cheap and accessible 2.. Can DIY and make them yourself 3. Jazz up any outfit 4. Its a nod to the 90's and can be quite playful and fun 5. Keeps my hair of my face at work
I thrifted 2 midnght blue velvet ones-99p for the pair, but I'm thinking of a nicer one with pattern on it. I'm always drawn to the bows and bobbles in American Apparel so I might treat myself to one even though they are quite expensive for what they are. I quite like the red one pictured below as it will match my new cardigan* (also thrifted**) * not actually THAT tomato red in real life. **god I feel so freekin American right now!
My dream job is working in a department store - I've applied twice for the John Lewis Graduate Scheme and once for a position at Selfridges as a 'superbrands sa;les consutant' on menswear at the Manchester Exchange Square branch. It seems I don't quite have the experience yet, but I've been pressing on gaining retail management skills at my current job at Majestic Wines so hopefully in the future I'l be in a better position to get to where I want to be. In the meantime I've been escaping to the magical world of the department store through the ITV drama Mr Selfridge. What I love about Selfridges is you can walk around and not even buy anything and you still feel special- honoured really by such a fabulous range of clothing and beauty products..It makes buying an outfit so much easier when you have different brands under one roof. I love how innovative and forward thinking Mr Selfridge is, and how his decisions have significantly impacted our shopping experience today- like putting beauty and perfume products on the ground floor for example.
Theres a promiscuous and charming showgirl called Ellen Love, who is undeniable beautiful and captivating. Her skin is so enviable, with a dewy luminosity, and the up dos are amazing, however I'm particularly jealous of the little beauty spots on her face., I have the odd freckle and a freeky mole on my arm but I want a beauty spot !!
I was walking through Alton on Saturday morning and went on a bit of a charity shop spree. In my hoard was the book that influenced the show (pictured above). The lady at the second hand book shop let me have it for £4.00 which I thought was well worth it.
