Look at this great Metamec clock that I found in a charity shop for a fiver!!
When I bought this teak battery operated mantle clock it wasnt working so I took a gamble until I could get it home, but luckily I came up trumps. The original Kienzle mechanism ticks like a dream. Its clear that its been someones pride and joy because theres a tiny little bit of wood missing that has been fixed carefully with filler and brown paint, which reminds me of something my grandad would have done. In fact i remember repairing his big golden wall mirror which still hangs above the fireplace. They thought I'D be good at matching the exact shade. :-)
Other thrifts...
It might not look that great here but i think I make it look good ;) i found this zara 'man' jacket in a charity shop in Winchester. It cost £10 and I felt not at all androgynous sporting it at Gay Pride at the weekend.
